  3. 2 (1 to 1) 1 medium onion -- sliced

  4. 1 tablespoon vinegar **SAUCE**

  5. 1 1/2 cups ketchup

  6. 1 1/4 cups chopped onion

  7. 2 tablespoons lemon luice

  8. 2 garlic cloves -- minced

  9. 1 teaspoon sugar

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  11. 1 1/8 teaspoons pepper

  1. Preparation : In a Dutch oven, combine ribs, water, onion and vinegar; bring to a boil. Re- duce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour, turning ribs occasionally. Drain. Place ribs in a single layer in an ungreased 13- in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Combine sauce ingredients; spoon over ribs. Cov- er and bake at 3250 for 1-1/4 hours or until the meat is tender.
