  2. 1 tablespoon Sugar

  3. 3 cups Bite-size pieces lettuce

  4. 3 cups Bite-size pieces romaine

  5. 2 medium Stalks celery -- sliced

  6. 1 cup 2 Green onions (with tops) -- Thinly sliced

  7. 1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges -- Drained --SWEET-AND-SOUR DRESSING--

  8. 1/4 cup Olive or vegetable oil

  9. 2 tablespoons Sugar

  10. 2 tablespoons Vinegar

  11. 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley

  12. 1/2 teaspoon Salt Freshly ground pepper Dash of red pepper sauce

  1. Preparation : Cook almonds and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted and nuts are coated; cool and break apart. Toss all ingredients. SWEET-AND-SOUR DRESSINGShake all ingredients in tightly covered container.
