  1. 4 cup Water

  2. 1/2 pound Ripe tomatoes,peeled --

  3. 1/2"cub

  4. 1 Salt to taste

  5. 1 Fresh ground pepper to taste

  6. 3/4 cup Orzo

  7. 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

  8. 2 tablespoon Olive oil

  9. 2 tablespoon Fresh basil,shred -- loose pack

  10. 1 teaspoon Garlic -- finely minced

  11. 10 minutes or until tender.Do not over cook.Drain. Meanwhile,heat oil in a sauce pan and add garlic.Cook stirring.Do not brown.Add tomatoes and sprinkle with salt,pepper and pepper flakes.Stir and bring to a boil.Add orzo and basil.Stir to blend,and serve.Makes
