  1. 8 ounces elbow macaroni

  2. 1/4 cup butter

  3. 1/4 cup flour

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1 dash black pepper

  6. 2 cups milk

  7. 2 cups cheddar cheese , shredded (8oz)

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions.

  2. In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in flour, salt and pepper; slowly add milk.

  3. Cook and stir until bubbly.

  4. Stir in cheese until melted.

  5. Drain macaroni; add to cheese sauce; stir to coat. ?
