  1. 500 Sweet potatoes - boiled and grated

  2. 60 Mawa- crumbled

  3. 80 Paneer - grated

  4. 25 Ginger - julienne

  5. 30 Mint leaves - chopped

  6. 10 Grated nutmeg

  7. 50 Broken cashew nuts - fried

  8. 125 Roasted gram flour - (besan)

  9. 10 White pepper powder

  10. Salt - to taste

  11. For The Garnish

  12. 1 teaspoon 5ml Chaat masala powder

  13. Lime juice - as needed

  1. "SHAKARKANDHI KE SEEKH (Sweet potato kabobs served with mint chuntey)"

  2. *(also known as khoa or khoya) is milk cooked down until fudge-like MIX sweet potatoes, mawa, paneer, ginger, mint leaves, cashew nuts, nutmeg and the seasoning. Add gram flour and bind to a dough. Take small portions of the dough and put on skewers as for seekh kabobs. Cook in medium hot tandoor until done. Sprinkle chaat masala and lime juice on top. Serve with mint chutney.
