  7. 8 oz Firm silken tofu

  8. 1/3 c Apple juice

  9. 1 tb Lemon juice

  10. 1 c Wholewheat flour

  11. 1 c All-purpose flour

  12. 2 ts Baking powder

  13. 1/2 ts Baking soda

  14. 1/4 ts Salt, optional

  15. 2 tb Basil, chopped -ÿÿ

  16. 1 tb Basil, dried

  17. 2 tb Chives, chopped -ÿÿ

  18. 1 tb Chives, dried

  19. Preheat oven to 450F & oil cookie sheets.

  20. Blend tofu till smooth. Blend in apple juice & lemon

  21. juice. Transfer to a medium sized mixing bowl & set

  22. aside. Sift together the next 5 ingredients & fold

  23. into the tofu mixture. Stir in basil & chives. Turn

  24. dough out onto a lightly floured board & form into a

  25. ball. Roll dough out to 1/2 thickness & cut with a

  26. cookie cutter. Bake for 12 minutes & serve immediately. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
