  1. 3/4 pound processed cheese spread, diced

  2. 1 cup butter or margarine

  3. 6 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate

  4. 2 pounds powdered sugar, sifted

  5. 1 1/2 pounds pecans, chopped

  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. In a saucepan, heat diced processed cheese spread, butter, and baking chocolate over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture, beating with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cool and cut into squares.
