  1. 8 cups 500g / 17oz Old-fashioned oats

  2. 1 1/2 cups 240g / 8 1/2oz Brown sugar

  3. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Wheat germ

  4. 8 oz 227g Almonds

  5. 8 oz 227g Cashews

  6. 8 oz 227g Unsweetened large ribbon coconut

  7. 3 oz 85g Sunflower seeds

  8. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  9. 1/2 cup 118ml Oil

  10. 1/2 cup 118ml Honey

  11. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Peanut butter

  12. 2 teaspoons 10ml Vanilla extract

  13. 1 cup 160g / 5.6oz Raisins

  1. Mix first seven ingredients in a large bowl.

  2. Heat water, oil, honey, and peanut butter until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pour over dry ingredients. Mix well and spread onto two large baking sheets.

  3. Bake in 200 degree oven for about two hours or until coconut is golden. Stir occasionally while baking. Add raisins when cool. Store in an airtight container.

  4. This recipe yields about 12 cups.
