  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil

  2. 3-3 1/2 lbs broiler-fryer chickens, in pieces

  3. 1 medium onion, chopped

  4. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  5. 1 pineapple, cut in

  6. 1 inch cubes or 1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained

  7. 1/2 cup dry sherry

  8. 2 tablespoons vinegar

  9. 1 teaspoon salt

  10. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  11. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  12. 1 dash pepper

  13. 2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped hot cooked rice (can cook concurrently so all is ready at the same time)
