  1. Favorite Brisket

  2. 4 pounds beef brisket

  3. 2 teaspoons salt

  4. 2 teaspoons dry mustard

  5. 2 teaspoons paprika

  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  7. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  8. Trim all excess fat from brisket. Combine seasonings until well

  9. blended; rub into brisket. Place meat in Crock-Pot with fat side

  10. up, cutting to fit if necessary. Cover and cook on Low setting

  11. 8 to 12 hours. Remove brisket from liquid and cut across the

  12. grain into thin slices. Serve au jus.
