  2. 500 gram cashews soaked

  3. 2 hours in water

  4. 300 gram sugar

  5. 1 tablespoon ghee

  6. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

  7. silver foil --

  1. Drain and grind cashews to a fine paste.

  2. Use as little water as possible.

  3. In a heavy suacepan put sugar and paste.

  4. Cook on slow to medium heat.

  5. Cook stirring continuously till a soft lump is formediumAdd ghee and cardamom powder and mix well.

  6. Spread on a clean greased worksurface.

  7. Roll lightly with a rolling pin, to 1/8" thickness.

  8. Apply silver foil. Cool, cut into diamond shaped katlis.

  9. Making time: 30 minutes.
