  1. 1 cup 40g / 1.4oz Cap'n Crunch cereal

  2. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Corn flakes

  3. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Flour

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Granulated onion

  5. 1 tablespoon 15ml Granulated garlic

  6. 2 teaspoons 10ml Freshly-ground black pepper

  7. 1 cup 237ml Milk

  8. 2 Eggs

  9. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Chicken tenders or breasts - cut into strips

  1. Pulse cereals in blender until the consistency of fine crumbs. Pour into a bowl. Combine flour, onion, garlic, and pepper in second bowl. Beat eggs and mix with milk in third bowl.

  2. Dredge breast tenders, first in milk mixture, then in flour mixture, and finally in cereal crumbs. Deep fry at 325 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked thoroughly. Serve with Creole mustard.
