  1. 1 Pound fresh or frozen medium Raw shrimp (in shells)

  2. 3/4c Beer

  3. 1 tb Vegetable oil

  4. 2 ts Chopped fresh or 1/2ts Freeze-dried chives

  5. 1/2ts Red pepper sauce

  6. 1/4ts Salt

  7. 2 Cl Garlic, crushed

  1. + Directions : Garlic-and-Beer-marinated Shrimp Kabobs. Peel shrimp. Make a shallow cut lengthwise down back of each shrimp and wash out vein. Mix remaining ingredients in shallow glass or plastic container. Stir in shrimp. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Set oven control to broil. Remove shrimp; reserve beer marinade. Thread shrimp about 1 inch apart on 15-inch metal skewers. Place on rack in broiler pan. Broil kabobs about 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade once, until shrimp are pink. Serve with melted margarine or butter and lemon wedges if desired.
