  1. 1/4 cup honey

  2. 1-1/2 tbsp.dry mustard

  3. 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

  4. 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

  5. 1 precooked ham steak,

  6. 12 to 16 ounces

  1. Combine honey, 3 tablespoons water, dry mustard, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. In a broiler placed close to the flame, broil the ham steak on both sides until lightly browned and heated through. Or pan-fry the ham steak on both sides in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place ham on a heated serving dish and set aside. Add honey mixture to the pan drippings and bring to a boil. Simmer 1 to 2 minutes, stirring. Brush sauce over ham; serve remaining sauce separately. Makes 4 servings.
