  1. Taco Salad

  2. 1 lb. ground beef

  3. 1 taco seasoning packet

  4. 1/2 head of head lettuce, chopped

  5. 1/2 bag tortilla chips, broken into medium size pieces

  6. 1 can garbonzo beans, drained

  7. 1 can kidney beans, drained

  8. 1-2 cups grated cheddar cheese

  9. 1 avocado, diced

  10. 1 tomato, diced

  11. 1/2 red onion, diced

  12. sour cream and salsa for garnish, if desired

  13. Brown the ground beef, and season with packet, following directions

  14. on package as if you were making for tacos. Set aside and allow

  15. to cool slightly while you make the rest of the salad. Mix together

  16. the lettuce, garbonzo and kidney beans, cheese, avocado, tomato

  17. and onion. Add tortilla chips and meat last, toss, and serve

  18. immediately, topped with sour cream and salsa if desired. (The

  19. seasoning/sauce on the meat become your dressing, and you really

  20. don't need anything else.)
