  1. 1/2 cup butter, softened

  2. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  3. 1/2 cup white sugar

  4. 2 eggs

  5. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  6. 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  7. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  8. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  11. 1 cup miniature marshmallows

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the chocolate chips and marshmallows. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
