  1. 1 Italian-style tomatoes - (28oz)

  2. 1/2 Tomato paste - (6oz)

  3. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Bell pepper - chopped, red/grn

  4. 1/2 cup 55g / 1.9oz Celery - chopped

  5. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Onion - chopped

  6. 1/3 teaspoon 1.7ml Salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Sugar

  1. Combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer gently 15 to 20 minutes.

  2. NOTE: Great on vegetables, meats or poultry, too.
