  1. SAVOURY MINCE PIE

  2. 1 tb Oil

  3. 2 md Onions

  4. 2 Cloves garlic

  5. 1 ts Fresh ginger

  6. 3 ts Curry powder

  7. 1/2 ts Salt

  8. 1 tb Lemon juice

  9. 250 g Beef mince

  10. 1 md Potato

  11. 1 ts Garam masala

  12. 1/4 c Fresh corianderSpinach and 1 c Finely chopped lightly

  13. 200 g Fetta cheese; chopped

  14. 3 Eggs

  15. 1 ts Dill tips

  16. 1 ts Ground nutmeg

  17. Salt and pepper to taste

  18. INSTRUCTIONS

  19. 250ml hot water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add finely diced potato and frozen peas if desired. Cook until tender (about half an hour). Add garam masala and fresh herbs. Use shortcrust pasty for the base of the pie and butterpuff pastry for the top. Follow the pie maker instructions for assembling and cooking the pie. You can use fresh sandwich sliced bread if you dont have pastry. Spinach & Fetta Pies: For the pastry use
