  1. 1 pound scallops

  2. 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  3. 4 tablespoons butter

  4. 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  5. 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

  6. 1 tablespoon chopped green onion

  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper Cooked rice for accompaniment

  1. Cook rice according to package directions. Saute scallops and peeled shrimp in butter in a large skillet over medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until cooked through; remove to a bowl. To the skillet, add softened cream cheese, lemon juice, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes then return the scallops and shrimp; heat through. Serve over the cooked rice.
