  8. 50 grams butter

  9. 1 large onion -- finely chopped

  10. 1 red bell pepper -- sliced in strips

  11. 1 green bell pepper -- sliced in strips

  12. 1 yellow bell pepper -- sliced in strips

  13. 1 courgette

  14. halved, sliced 1cm thick

  15. 100 grams mushroom -- sliced

  16. 225 grams long-grain white rice -- (~1-1/4c)

  17. 600 milliliters vegetable bouillon -- (~2-1/3c)

  18. 1 tablespoon Tabasco jalapeno sauce

  19. 25 grams freshly grated Parmesan -- (~1/2c)

  20. pepper & salt -- to taste

  21. chopped parsley -- for garnish

  22. Saute the onion in butter about 5 min.

  23. Stir in the vegetables and rice; continue cooking 5 min more.

  24. Add the bouillon, S&P.

  25. Bring to a boil.

  26. Cover and put on lowest heat.

  27. 15 min

  28. Stir in the jalapeno sauce and the Parmesan cheese.

  29. Garnish with parsley.

  30. Serves 4 according to the recipe?, but there must be more to

  31. the meal.

  32. We got two main-dish meals with salad, and then used the leftover

  33. serving as a side dish with something else. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  34. NOTES: It's not really a risotto, but it tastes good anyhow.
