  8. 1 tb Cardamom; crushed

  9. 4 ea Peppercorns (or 1 tsp fresh -green peppercorns)

  10. 1 lg Onion, finely chopped

  11. 6 Sprigs parsley, chopped

  12. 1 ts Sage

  13. 2 sl Wholewheat bread; crusts -removed, or homemade -saffron bread (see rec.)

  14. 1/4c Tarragon vinegar A good pinch of saffron
