  1. 1 teaspoon salt

  2. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  3. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  4. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  5. 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

  6. 4 (8 ounce) rib eye steaks

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients, and rub over steaks.

  2. Let stand 1 hour.

  3. Grill, covered with grill lid, over high heat (400° to 500°) 7 minutes.

  4. Turn steaks, and grill 5 more minutes or to desired degree of doneness.
