  2. Spiced Carrot Jam

  7. 4 c finely chopped raw carrots

  8. 3 c sugar

  9. Juice & graed peel of 2 lemons

  10. 1/2 tsp each cloves, allspice and cinnamon

  11. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil over medium

  12. low heat, stirring constantly. Then, stirring often, cook over low heat 30

  13. to 40 minutes, or until mixture is as thick as jam. Pour into hot

  14. sterilized jars and seal. Yield: 4 jelly glasses.
