  1. Coat the crock pot with butter. Add the chocolate, marshmallows, and milk to the slow cooker, cover, and cook on the low heat setting, stirring every 30 minutes until the mixture is melted and smooth (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours). Gradually add the whipping cream. Cover and keep warm until you are ready to serve (up to 6 hours). Serve with bite-size pieces of pound cake, bananas, marshmallows, fresh strawberries, grapes, or mandarin oranges.
