  6. 2 1/4 c Macaroons; crumbled

  7. 3 c Chocolate ice cream;

  8. - slightly softened

  9. 5 Heath bars; coarsely chopped

  10. 4 tb Chocolate syrup

  11. 3 tb Kahlua

  12. 3 c Vanilla ice cream; slightly

  13. - softened Layer the bottom of an 8 round springform pan with

  14. 1-1/4 cup of the macaroons. Spread chocolate ice cream

  15. evenly over the crumbs. Sprinkle 4 of the crushed

  16. Heath bars over the ice cream. Dribble 3 tbls of the

  17. chocolate syrup and 2 tbls of the Kahlua over

  18. chocolate ice cream. Cover with remaining macaroons.

  19. Top evenly with vanilla ice cream. Sprinkle remaining

  20. crushed Heath bars over ice cream, then the chocolate

  21. syrup and Kahlua. Cover and freeze for at least 8

  22. hours or overnught. When ready to serve, run the blade

  23. of a kitchen knife around the edges of the pan, remove

  24. the sides and place the ice cream cake on a serving

  25. paltter. Slice and serve.

  26. TIP: Place Heath bars in freezer till frozen. They

  27. are then easily broken with a mallet.

  28. VARIATIONS: Other cookies, such as chocolate wafers

  29. or vanilla cookies can be used instead of macaroons.

  30. Different variations of chocolate ice crem, such as

  31. chocolate-almond or others can be used. --
