  1. 1 package (12 ounces) fresh or frozen cranberries

  2. 2 cups sugar

  3. 1/2 cup orange juice

  4. 1/2 cup cranberry juice

  5. 2 cups dried cherries or golden raisins

  6. 1 teaspoon grated orange peel

  1. In a large saucepan, cook the cranberries, sugar and juices over medium heat until the berries pop, about 15 minutes. Add the cherries and orange peel. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Transfer to a large bowl; cover and refrigerate until serving. Yield: 4 cups.
