  6. 1 cup 237ml Apple cider

  7. 1 1/2 cups 139g / 4.9oz Fresh or thawed frozen cranberries - cut into halves

  8. 1 3/4 teaspoons 8.8ml Equal for Recipes

  9. 6 packets Equal sweetener Or 1/4 cup Equal Spoonful

  10. 3/4 teaspoon 3.8ml Ground cinnamon

  11. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Ground nutmeg

  12. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  13. 5 cups 1185ml Sliced cored peeled Granny Smith apples

  14. 5 medium

  15. Streusel

  16. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Quick-cooking oats

  17. 3 tablespoons 45ml All-purpose flour

  18. 3 1/2 teaspoons 17ml Equal for Recipes

  19. 12 packets Equal sweetener Or 1/2 cup Equal Spoonful

  20. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground cinnamon

  21. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground nutmeg

  22. 4 tablespoons 60ml Cold margarine cut into pieces

  1. To prepare streusel: combine oats, flour, Equal, cinnamon, and nutmeg in small bowl; cut in margarine with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  2. To prepare pie: roll pastry on floured surface into circle 1 inch larger than inverted pie pan. Ease pastry into pan, trim and flute edge.

  3. Combine cornstarch and 7 1/4 teaspoons Equal for Recipes or 24 packets Equal sweetener or 1 cup Equal Spoonful in small saucepan; stir in apple cider and cranberries. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute.

  4. Combine remaining 1 3/4 teaspoons Equal for Recipes or 6 packets Equal sweetener or 1/4 cup Equal Spoonful, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; sprinkle over apples in large bowl and toss. Pour cranberry mixture over apples and mix gently. Arrange fruit in pastry; sprinkle Streusel Topping over apples.

  5. Bake pie in preheated 400 degree oven until pastry is golden and apples are tender, 50 to 60 minutes, covering pie loosely with aluminum foil during last 20 to 30 minutes of baking time to prevent overbrowning. Cool on wire rack; serve warm.
