  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Molasses

  4. 1 Egg

  5. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Flour

  6. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Salt

  7. 2 teaspoons 10ml Baking soda

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cinnamon

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cloves

  10. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ginger

  1. Recipe Instructions Beat oil and sugar in bowl until creamy. Add molasses and egg, and beat well. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Add to sugar mixture and mix well. Roll into teaspoon-size balls. Roll in sugar to coat, and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until cracked and lightly browned, 12 to 15 minutes. This recipe yields 4 dozen. Each cookie: 69 calories; 15 mg sodium; 4 mg cholesterol; 4 grams fat; 9 grams carbohydrates; 1 gram protein; 0.02 gram fiber.
