  1. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Sugar snap peas

  2. Coarse salt - as needed

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Sugar

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter

  5. 3 tablespoons 45ml Chopped parsley leaves

  1. Place peas in pot and add 1 inch water. Add a little salt, a teaspoon of sugar and a couple of pats of butter to the pot. Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook until peas are tender but still bright green, 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Add chopped parsley. Transfer peas to a serving dish.

  2. This recipe yields 6 servings.
