  1. 2 tablespoons 30ml Olive oil

  2. 3 Garlic cloves - smashed

  3. 1 Red bell pepper - cut thin strips

  4. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Broccoli rabe - hollow stems

  5. Trimmed, blanched, and drained

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried hot red pepper flakes - (to 3/4)

  7. 1 cup 237ml Chicken broth

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add red pepper and saute until softened. Add broccoli rabe and hot pepper flakes, and coat with oil. Add broth, cover pan and cook until rabe is tender, about 4 more minutes.

  2. This recipe yields 4 servings.
