  1. 1 pound lean ground beef

  2. 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs (1 1/2 slices bread)

  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  4. 1/4 cup finely chopped celery

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1 large eggs

  7. 1 teaspoon garlic salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1. Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, celery, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, garlic salt and pepper; mix thoroughly.

  2. Shape into 1 dozen balls 1 1/2-inches in diameter.

  3. Place in buttered shallow baking pan.

  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) 20 minutes.

  5. Prepare soup mix according to package directions using beef broth for the liquid. Add meat balls. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in wine and sour cream. Heat; then serve over beds of fluffy rice.
