  1. 6 lbs 2724g / 96oz Beef brisket - flat portion

  2. 2 lbs 908g / 32oz Onions - sliced (large)

  3. 10 Garlic - minced

  4. 3/4 cup 120g / 4 1/5oz Brown sugar

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Vinegar

  6. 1 cup 237ml Catsup

  7. 1 cup 237ml Water

  8. 1 tablespoon 15ml Salt

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  1. Place brisket in heavy skillet and brown on all sides, add onion and garlic and brown.

  2. All other ingredients are now added simmered (covered) until meat is tender, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
