  2. salt and pepper

  3. 5 slices bacon , sliced in

  4. 1/4 inch pieces

  5. 1 1/4 cups onions , chopped

  6. 2 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained

  7. 1 cup ketchup

  8. 1 pint sour cream

  9. 2 teaspoons paprika

Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.

  3. Over high heat, sear the pork chops on both sides. Do not cook through.

  4. Remove pork for the pan and place in a baking dish. The chops should be snug, but not overlapping.

  6. Adjust heat to medium low.

  7. Add the bacon and onions to the pan, and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is transparent.

  8. Add the mushrooms, ketchup, sour cream and paprkia. Stir until all the sauce ingredients are combined, and the sour cream "melts".

  9. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.

  10. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes.

  11. Uncover, and bake for 10 minutes more, or until chops reach the desired degree of doneness.
