  1. 1 c. butter, not butter

  2. 1 1/2 c. sugar

  3. 2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

  4. 2 tsp. vanilla

  5. 4 lg. eggs

  6. 1 pt. real whipping cream

  7. 1 thick Hershey bar

  8. Baked and cooled pie shell

  1. Cream softened butter and sugar; beat in chocolate and vanilla until well blended; add eggs, one at a time, beating with an electric mixer at medium speed for 5 minutes after each egg. (Time yourself; if this is not done, pie will not turn out right.) Put into pie shell; chill.

  2. Beat whipped cream until it forms a peak; put on pie; chill again; shave a block of Hershey bar with a carrot peeler on top of whipped cream. Better if made a day before serving. Very good!
