  1. 1-1/3 cups College Inn ® Beef Broth 99% Fat Free

  2. 1 medium onion , sliced

  3. 1 Tbsp. butter

  4. 1 tsp. sugar

  5. 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1 Tbsp. white wine or water coarsely ground pepper to taste

  7. 2 slices French bread (1 inch thick)

  8. 1/3 cup shredded Swiss cheese

  9. 3 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

  1. Directions 1. Saute onion in butter in a saucepan until tender.

  2. Sprinkle with sugar and Worcestershire sauce; cook and stir for 13-15 minutes or until onion is caramelized.

  3. Add broth, wine or water and pepper. Bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

  5. Place bread on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4 in. from the heat until toasted.

  6. Turn; sprinkle with cheeses. Broil until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Ladle soup into bowls; top with toast.
