  1. 16 oz 454g Red devil hot sauce

  2. 2 1/2 teaspoons 12ml Red pepper flakes - crushed

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Onion - sliced (small)

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Celery stalk - sliced (small)

  5. 3 cups 711ml Tomato puree

  6. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Water

  7. 1 1/2 cups 297g / 10oz Sugar

  8. 1 Lemon - sliced

  1. Recipe Instructions Combine all the ingredients in a heavy pot and heat just till hot. Don't bring to a boil or the sauce will turn dark and become thin. Cool the sauce to room temperature, strain it, and store it in a tightly covered jar in the refrigerator.
