  1. 2 lbs.round steak , cut in

  2. 1/4 x 2 inch strips

  3. 2 tablespoons oil

  4. salt and pepper, to taste

  5. 4 tablespoons mustard

  6. 3 or 4 tablespoons cornstarch

  7. 1 can mushroom s with liquid

  8. 8 oz. sour cream

  1. Brown meat in oil, in large skillet, salt and pepper to taste. Cover with water and mustard, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until very tender, adding water if necessary. Make a paste of cornstarch and water, add gradually to meat, stirring constantly. Cook until very thick. Add mushrooms, stir. Stir in sour cream, heat but do not boil.

  2. Can be served as is or over cooked egg noodles.
