  9. 1 tb Oil

  10. 1 Bell peppers; sliced

  11. 1 Onions; sliced

  12. 1 Garlic cloves, crushed

  13. 1 Chicken

  14. Cinnamon; stick or ground

  15. Curry powder

  16. Cumin, ground

  17. Turmeric

  18. 6 oz Mushrooms; sliced

  19. 8 oz Tomatoes

  20. 1/2 c Wine, red

  21. 3 tb Cornstarch

  22. 1 ts Garlic salt

  23. 1/4 c Water

  24. Sliced fresh mushrooms are best, although you can use

  25. canned. Brown bell pepper, onion, and garlic in oil in

  26. skillet. Also brown mushrooms, if using fresh. Place

  27. whole chicken in crockpot; add seasonings and vegetables, topping with vegetables from skillet. Add

  28. wine. Cook until done.

  29. 200-degree oven

  30. Add water to cornstarch and salt and stir to a paste,

  31. then add to crockpot mixture and cook until slightly

  32. thickened and bubbly. Spoon sauce over chicken.
