  1. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Sifted flour

  2. 2 cups 320g / 11oz Light brown sugar - packed

  3. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Margarine

  4. 1 Egg - well beaten

  5. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Additional flour

  6. 2 teaspoons 10ml Baking powder

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Cinnamon

  8. 3/4 cup 177ml Milk

  1. Recipe Instructions Mix sifted flour, sugar and margarine until crumbly. Set aside 1/2 cup. To the remaining crumb mixture add remaining ingredients as given above. Beat well with mixer on low speed. Spread evenly in a greased 8" square pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top and bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Dust warm cake with powdered sugar before cutting.
