  1. 1 c. sugar

  2. 3 eggs

  3. 1/2 c. white Karo

  4. 3 tbsp. melted butter

  5. 1 tsp. vanilla

  6. Dash salt

  7. 1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

  8. Pie crust, unscored

  1. Add sugar and eggs. Beat until well blended. Add Karo, butter, vanilla and salt. Fold in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 300 degrees and cook about 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

  2. NOTE: There should be no cuts, cracks, for scores in pie crust. This would cause the liquid to seep below the crust. Excellent when served with whipped cream.
