  1. 6 green cardamom pods

  2. 1 (7 cm) cinnamon sticks

  3. 2 teaspoons caster sugar

  4. 2 cinnamon apple tea bags

  5. 500 ml boiling water

  6. 2 tablespoons ouzo

  7. ice cube, to serve

  1. Place the cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, sugar and tea bags in a large heatproof jug. Add the boiling water and stir until sugar dissolves. Set aside for 3 minutes to infuse. Remove the tea bags and discard.

  2. Stir in the ouzo and place in the fridge for 2 hours to chill. Place the ice cubes in serving glasses and pour over the chilled tea to serve.
