  1. 5 Anjou pears

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Unbleached white flour

  3. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Sugar

  4. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Salt

  5. 1 cup 237ml Nonfat yogurt

  6. 1 Egg

  7. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Grated nutmeg

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla extract

  9. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Sugar

  10. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Unbleached white flour

  11. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Cinnamon

  12. 2 tablespoons 30ml Margarine

  13. 1 Baked pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Peel pears and cut into bite-size pieces. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, combine remaining filling ingredients and fold in pears. Pour pear mixture into pie crust.

  4. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes Lower heat to 350F and continue baking for 25 minutes more.

  5. Mix together topping ingredients.

  6. Remove pie from oven and sprinkle topping over filling.

  7. Raise heat to 375F and bake until topping is brown.
