  2. 1 cup 237ml Light soy sauce

  3. 1 cup 237ml Dark soy sauce

  4. 1 Star anise

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Chinese rice wine or dry sherry

  6. 5 tablespoons 75ml Sugar

  7. 4 Fresh ginger root
