  1. 1 cup Butter

  2. 1 cup Sugar

  3. 2 cups Flour; enriched - sifted

  4. 1 teaspoon Ammonia salt

  5. 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  1. Cream the butter; add sugar and cream thoroughly, using an electric beater if possible.

  2. Beat in the sifted flour, ammonia salt, and vanilla.
