  2. 1 1/2 pound Pork lean , ground coarse

  7. 5 Tablespoon Chili powder

  8. 3 Tablespoon Cumin -- ground

  9. 3 Tablespoon Oregano

  10. 3 Tablespoon Cocoa powder -- unsweetened

  11. 3 Tablespoon Cinnamon

  12. 2 Tablespoon Garlic -- chopped fine

  13. 3 Tablespoon Masa harina

  14. 2 cup Pinto beans -- rinsed and drain

  1. cook meat about 20 minutes until they lose pinkcolor but not browned (I personally don't know whatthat means, since it goes from brown to pink...)

  2. Transfer to a bowl.

  3. heat oil in same pan and sauteeonions 10 to 20 minutes, until `translucent.

  4. stir meat into onions. Add tomatojuice (I usedpuree instead cause I had it), 3 cups of water, thechili powder, cumin, oregano, cocoa, cinnamon, andsalt. (Ann is going to cut down on the cinnamon nexttime but I didn't think it was too much at all) Blend.

  5. Bring to boil, uncovered, for an hour.

  6. taste forsea- soning, add more chili powder if you like (in myopinion, you can add more of ANYTHING if you like) 5.

  7. Stir in the garlic, corn- meal, and beans. Simmer for10 minutes. Serve with garnishes (I usually serve ricebut did this for a change and loved it). Deb for serving:
