  1. 591.47 ml flour

  2. 29 1/28 ml honey (or sugar)

  3. 2.46 ml salt

  4. 11 g dry yeast

  5. 236 1/29 ml very warm water

  6. 29 1/28 ml shortening

  7. 1 egg (medium)

  8. 14.79 ml ginger powder

  9. 14.79 ml mixed dried herbs (thyme, rosemary, marjoram, basil, oregano, sage)

  1. Mix 1 1/2 cup of flour, honey (or sugar), salt, dry yeast, very warm water, shortening and beaten egg; beat until smooth.

  2. Add the remaining flour and beat until smooth.

  3. Cover and let rise (about 30 minutes).

  4. Stir the batter slowly then pour into 9 x 5 baking tin and let rise about 20 minutes.

  5. Bake it in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes. ?
