  7. 2 cans tuna

  8. 1/2 cup green onion -- chopped

  9. 1 tablespoon butter

  10. 1/2 cup water chestnuts -- sliced

  11. 2 teaspoons slivered fresh or candied ginger

  12. 2 cups sour cream

  13. salt and pepper to taste

  14. Hot cooked rice

  15. Drain tuna oil into pan, add onion and butter, and cook until wilted. Add tuna, broken into large flakes, water chestnuts, ginger, sour cream, and salt and pepper to taste. Heat (DO NOT BOIL) over low heat.

  16. Serve over or with rice mixed.

  17. Tootie Notes: This is not at it's best if you do not use the ginger. Please, get some fresh ginger if you can and give this a try. Very good! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
