  1. 150g plain flour

  2. 75g unsalted butter , chilled and diced

  3. 4 tbsp oats

  4. 4 tbsp flaked almonds

  5. 2 tbsp demerara sugar

  6. 500g cherries , stoned

  7. 3 tbsp caster sugar

  1. Heat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Whizz the plain flour and butter together in a food processor until it looks like breadcrumbs. Stir the oats, almonds and demerara sugar into the flour mix.

  2. Mix the cherries with the sugar and 4 tbsp water. Tip into 4 individual ovenproof dishes or cups, then top with crumble mix. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
