  1. 15 C. Day Old Bread, chopped into cubes (1 slice = 1 C.) 3 C. Chopped Celery 1 1/2 C. Chopped Onion 3/4 t. Sage (I don't like sage, so I don't use it) 1 t. Salt 1/2 t. Pepper 1 1/4 C. (or 2 1/2 Sticks)

  1. Saute celery & onions in melted butter. Add salt, pepper & sage & mix well. Toss bread cubes in crock pot & mix in celery/onion mixture. Cover & cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring well.
