  1. 4 tablespoons 60ml Unsalted butter

  2. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Finely-chopped green onion

  3. 1 Garlic clove - minced

  4. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Zucchini - trimmed, and Sliced 1/8" thick

  5. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Grated Jack cheese - hot pepper is good!

  6. 1 Egg

  7. 1/2 cup 118ml Sour cream

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped fresh basil

  10. 1 tspn dried basil

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8- by 8-inch baking dish.

  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and saute until the onion is translucent. Scrape into a large bowl.

  3. Melt the remaining butter over medium-high heat in the same frying pan. Add the zucchini and cook, stirring frequently until the moisture has evaporated and the zucchini is tender.

  4. Transfer to a food processor and pulse until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse to combine. Add the onions and pulse once.

  5. Pour into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes until lightly golden.

  6. This recipe yields 4 servings.
